Carpe Diem #1087 String Symphony No. 4 in C minor by Mendelssohn

I was not having any luck writing about the String Symphony but I found Mendelssohn' Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor full of unexpected twists and turns.  Each section filled me with inspiration.

a mouse scurries

inside the wall

my morning face

sporting dark circles

the beating of a moth's wing

frantic cadence

spring flowers push

slowly through the mud

seeking sunlight

in the moonlight

I dance down the path

with shadows

the warmth of your kiss

wrapped in the night's beauty

this snowy night
